Following the recent announcement of Sarah Rogers as the agency president, BTA also promoted Shelby Toompas to Agency Project Manager.
In her new position, Toompas will play an integral role managing the BTA team and agency resources to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
Since joining BTA in 2017 as PR / Content Marketing Specialist, Toompas has proven to be a key member within the agency’s expanding team.
“Shelby has demonstrated a diverse skillset and her contributions have earned the trust and praise of our clients,” stated Sarah Rogers, BTA president. “She has shown a real knack for managing complex projects and possesses an operations-minded instinct.
“I am thrilled to move into the role of Project Manager at BlaineTurner Advertising,” said Toompas. “There’s something special about taking a client’s need and working alongside your colleague–a designer, videographer, or website developer–to see it come to life. Our clients, and the creative team we have at BTA, motivate me to find and deliver the best possible solution. I consider myself fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy each and every day.”
She is well-deserving of this promotion and we look forward to her continued growth with our agency in her new role,” added Rogers.
Toompas earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from West Virginia University. She gained invaluable print and public relations experience in New York City and worked as an editorial assistant for American Baby and Parents Magazine, and at a public relations firm representing corporate, lifestyle, and health and wellness clients. Toompas is originally from Clarksburg.
